π ADULTS ON THEIR FAV QUEER ICONS π
Pretty much all of my icons are queer. Queer art is the one, isnβt it. Iβm scared to answer this, it could easily just reel off a massive listβ¦whoops. Iβm always in awe of candid/sincere artists.

What better way to wake people up than by loudly & aggressively putting it in their faces. Having that healthy release of anger & taking up space has power. People resonate with righteous anger.Β
“Brat Metal is a mixture of cute/bratty vocals with heavy crushing riffs. Think Gwen Stefani if she fronted Slipknot”
Putting emotional words to angry music is not addressing your mental health. You get an outlet, an artistic endeavor to put your feelings on a canvas. It is enough to keep you going, maybe even a way to take deep emotions & dump them so you donβt have to feel them, but it is not actually taking accountability or finding help.

“I do what everyone else does & scroll through social media & hate every moment of it but do it anyway because that’s just what life is now.”

We are the babies! & you are all the caregivers
‘We just wanted to make something fucked up & ugly & ever changing. There’s a lot of baggage that comes with us, but it’s like Louis Vuitton baggage; you always want it. ‘
‘You are not to blame. You do not have to handle things on your own. & if youβve been through something more than once itβs not because youβre βcrazyβ itβs because the world is fucked. & you can be a part of the change that so badly needs to happen.’
